Lake Victoria Resource plays a vital role in tourism development and economic growth. Member Local Authorities of LVRLAC are being mobilized to map out tourism hotspots in their jurisdictions and plan for their development. LVRLAC intends to assist members with tools and avenues  available for capacity building and knowledge support in developing new tourism areas and at the same time improve the existing ones to meet tourism demands connected to the second Largest Lake in the World, Lake Victoria.
