Through partnership with Lake Victoria Basin Commission(LVBC), LVRLAC was able to attract a project on Water and Sanitation.

This project was designed at improving access to water, sanitation, solid waste management and drainage services ;  gender focused strategies for sustainable management and monitoring of rehabilitated systems; institutionalized capacity building; and a contribution to the reduction in pollutant loads entering Lake Victoria.

Beneficiaries  were Geita Dc, Sengerema DC and Ukerewe DC at Nansio.
